Why am I running?

Our current mayor is a hard working man, who doesn’t include the public in his decisions

he denied us the public vote that was to happen before committing to the water project which has grown from $13M now up to $18M
village meeting minutes from 2024 were not posted all year until December. Why not?
he has demanded that only motions and the results of votes be posted in the minutes - not how he and individual trustees have voted

we had a Planning Board to work on a Comprehensive Plan for the future. The Board members resigned all together one night because of the Mayor’s undermining and borderline illegal behavior
for three years he has refused to create a new board, and instead appointed a Committee. Without a Board, the Mayor is the signing authority
we have no comprehensive plan for the Village, that the residents can read and give commentary. What is direction for the future? Who knows...

I have attended at least 90% of the monthly Village meetings since the end of the Covid Pandemic. I am frequently the only member of the public there.
no effort has been made engage the Village residents with surveys, broadcast the meetings via Zoom, or mail out periodic summaries. The Village calendar doesn’t even have the election date listed
Mayor Lennon schedules many special meetings that most people can’t attend and therefore can’t comment or challenge the issues
